It's Sunday morning and the sun is streaming through the windows, so I thought as a little post for you lovely readers who are still waiting for spring to arrive, I would share with you what I spotted in my garden just now ...
Pink Blossom and Blue Skies
This beautiful awakening has certainly lifted my spirits. A skeletal body has suddenly woken up and sprouted new colourful life.
Slowly but surely spring is waking from its quiet slumber and it is making me breathe a sigh of content.
Have a beautiful Sunday.
Take care.
Beautiful. I do like seeing signs of spring.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Chel! I am thoroughly enjoying the signs of spring myself. Have a blessed Lord's Day my friend.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Vicky
Wow - amazing contrasts - gorgeous spring blooms.
ReplyDelete"Blue skies, nothing but blue skies" they do have a way of lifting our spirits, don't they?
ReplyDeleteThat pretty pink with blue is stunning!
We knew spring had arrived as we had a bear in our yard yesterday. You could tell he had just woke up, a little on the slow side. :-)
Have a most blessed day.
Joy! Debbie
Your pictures have definitely lifted MY spirits, Chel. The sun is out here, but no blossoms to be found. I dig clean out a garden yesterday so that my spring bulbs may start peeking through soon ( high hopes, I know, but a girl can dream!)
ReplyDeleteThose are just gorgeous pictures, Shel. Maybe we, too, will see that one of these days!!! I HOPE so- xo Diana

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Chel, you couldn't just nudge the sun up the country a little bit could you? Things are starting to come to life but definitely sloooowly. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThe sky is the perfect color. I love that dark blue, almost periwinkle, sky.

ReplyDeleteIt's going to be beautiful. I keep thinking we are there, but last night we had a very cold frost! all my layers are still on. X
ReplyDeleteI am so looking forward to seeing the blossoms through out the orchards outside the almost big city....hundreds and hundreds of acres of sweet pastel petals.
ReplyDeleteLove your blossoms!
Jen
So beautiful. No blossom here yet, I am hoping that it won't be long now! xx
ReplyDeleteHi Chel, it is so nice to meet you! Thank you for coming by my blog and leaving such a nice comment...and for becoming a follower. I'm your newest follower as well! It's exciting for me to meet new blogging friends, especially those overseas. The UK has a special place in my heart...a good friend of mine and his family live in Bristol, England. They also have a house in Brittany, France. I was able to travel to England back in 2000 to visit them and I fell in love with England...I need to go back, but financial and medical issues keep me from going right now. Thank you for posting photos of your beautiful blooms...none here yet!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I love the pink and blue. I like your new header too! Enjoy the spring weather.
ReplyDeleteThe pink and blue images are beautiful, Chel. This sneak peek of springtime in your country reminds me that I'll need to head out and enjoy some tree blossom here. Mind you, that will still be awhile! Thank you for joining in this week.
ReplyDeleteKaren
Beautiful photos - almost oriental x
ReplyDeleteWow, these pictures are awesome! I love spring flowers like these and blue skies. If we have a bit of cooler weather in Bangkok then it's better:). But I should go out and really take pictures of the flowers that are blossoming right now. Cheers!
