I love receiving different things in the post don't you? Especially when the postman can't get the package through the letter box! I joined Stephanie at The Enchanting Rose for her mug exchange and was so glad to receive my parcel from Lauren at Sola Scriptura. So many happy, gorgeous things including some beautiful crochet.
A beautiful crochet shawl, made by Lauren in Aberdeen to keep me warm on the cool English evenings.
Sorry about the shadow, I had a little photo bomber sitting beside me (who I will reveal in a moment!). Lauren wrote me a lovely note on the postcard from her home town of Aberdeen, a lovely touch as I am beginning to collect postcards from fellow bloggers.
And then a delicate china blue mug wrapped up in a woollen jacket, how sweet is this?!
Of course, you can't have a mug without a fragrant cup of tea and Lauren didn't disappoint there with her selection of delicious teas.
Thank you so much Lauren for this happy bundle, it has given me a lot of smiles and happy sighs. Oh, and by the way, do you want to see the photo bomber?
Yes, it's Coco, who was taking a protective look over her mum's gift. Don't worry, everything was picked up and safely put out of her way before she took a shine to the shawl.
Thank you Stephanie for organising this wonderful exchange and for introducing me to Lauren.
I hope you have all had a wonderful week. I am sorry I haven't visited so many of you but I have a new toy that has Windows 8.1 installed... trying to get my head around the constant pop up screens and personalising my desktop. Will be back on top of things soon... hopefully!
