December 8th
My eighth Advent calendar door has now opened revealing reflections. These reflections were taken after a brief appearance of the sun after a storm in a beautiful church in Spalding.
So week one of Advent has come to an end and I hope you are enjoying your 'chocolates' as we go through. I can feel the urgency in the air every time I venture out and with tempers running high in shops and queues beginning to lengthen, just take that time as you approach the till to just have a moment of reflection, talk to the person behind you in the queue, after all you may be the only person they will talk to that day. Enjoy those moments.
Here's a look back at the open doors this week.
Don't forget to tick the box below to let me know that you are keeping with me on this journey.
Enjoy your weekend.

ReplyDeleteI know that church well - such a beautiful photo:)
ReplyDeleteI'm so enjoying every door that opens, and waiting in anticipation of what's to come. That window is exquisite. I agree a few words spoken to a stranger, or just a smile can make a real difference to someone's day. You never know what impact it might have. Thanks for reinforcing that in our minds Chel x
ReplyDeleteChel, lovely post and words. :) The stained glass and reflections are beautiful. Have a happy day and week ahead!
