Happy Halloween

The pumpkins have been lit by candle and electric.  The bunting and ghoulish witches and skeletons are in place.  Time for the fun to begin and to also say goodbye to a wonderful and colourful October.

Another trip planned for this half term holiday... back to Durham's Beamish Museum for their Halloween weekend.  Lots of opportunities to visit this amazing place and some ghostly figures.  Another post to write up for next month.

The house is staged, the sweets are ready and the trick or treaters have descended on the village.  Some fantastic costumes this year!

Sorry a very short blog today as so much to do in so little time! However I just had to show you my Luke's creation

The front of the house has been decorated with bunting, skulls and skeletons, but disappointingly  we have not been able to find our ten year collection of witches, skulls, tombstones etc so this is extremely understated this year...we will probably find these tomorrow!!
