Chel dear, what a fabulous post on the Beamish Museum trip - I loved the words and pics so much, and I would give anything (well almost!) for that mirror in the printer's shop!
Thanks for sharing this wonderful step back in history.
I remember that post, but went back and read it again anyway. Love living museums like that. I wouldn't have gone down into the pit, however. I hate to be under the ground before my time.
Loved the 'contradiction' and ex-RAF hubby and I loved the Beamish post! Goodness, it brought a lot of memories! Many thanks for sharing a nifty trip Chel! You are the best!! Enjoy Autumn in all its glory,
Thank you so much for visiting, I love reading your comments and will answer either by email or on the blog. You can also email me privately in my side bar. Have a great day x
I'm Chel, a proud Londoner now living in Lincolnshire blogging about the everyday, no matter what the weather! I share my life with my two teens and our rescue dog Tia. I love photography, crafts, gardening, cooking and going on trips here and there (London especially!). Grab yourself a cup of tea and share with me my ramblings. As my Grandad used to say, "So, where shall we go on our journey today?" let's see...
It obviously made an impression..! All the best, Chel.
ReplyDeleteLove this!
ReplyDeleteI love old printing press letters. I have some that spell my last name and an old printer's tray. Have a lovely mid-week, Chel.

Enjoy Autumn in all its glory,
I love old printing-related items. My husband is a great enthusiast for fonts and typeface.
ReplyDeleteA great contradiction indeed, that is why I post wordy Wednesday posts sometimes, I could never be wordless! xx
ReplyDeleteYou don't see too many of those anymore.
ReplyDeleteOld typesets are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh how I would love to own some old printing typesets! This is a great photo! Have a lovely weekend.
