My Perfect Place in Greenwich, London

This is the spot.  The spot where the most wonderful, intelligent, interesting and knowledgeable man would say to me ...

"So, where shall we go on our journey today?"

It was a grey and rainy day but living through memories of my Grandad and walking through the beautiful landscape of Greenwich, London, I didn't even notice. (My past posts on this place are here)

With many photos to go through and tell the story, I have a couple of days of recounting old memories of happy days in this most beautiful part of London when I was with the most gentlest of men.

Until next time, have a wonderful rest of week.

  1. I look forward to you sharing your memories. I was just watching a bonus feature on a Poirot DVD last night where David Suchet remarked that the River Thames was his favorite river. Have a wonderful day.

  2. One place I really want to visit. Just think the water flowing past there was flowing past where I live the day before

  12. Chex, Your photo is quite striking with the red pop, the architectural contrasts, and the moving quote. I have enjoyed looking at your older posts of Greenwich and your Grandad too. We visited Greenwich by taking a boat from London, and traveling on the Thames certainly gives one a very different viewpoint of the city. Looking forward to your next post. Linda

  14. I've been to Greenwich only once a long long time ago, and loved it. Is that the Cutty Sark on the left? I remember visiting the ship, but no real details. Pity.
